Cleveland suffers back-to-back 25+ point differential losses and becomes the only team in the 🤐NBA to do so. The previous one came against the Minnesota 🐺Timberwolves.

Lack of effort & the will to be the first one to the 🏀ball, was fairly evident throughout the 48 minutes for the Cavs. Toronto outscored them in the 2⃣nd period 35-16, as the Cavs shot a miserable 23% from downtown. The return of Isaiah Thomas has not borne any 🤷‍♂️fruits yet, as he played ⏱24 minutes, shot 2 of 15 from the field & 0 of 6 from behind the arc with shots falling short of the rim most of the times.

LeBron scored 26 points attempting just the one 3-pointer in all of 32 minutes he played, which he missed too🤦 eventually. Seven of the Raptors scored in double figures, with Jonas Valancuinis(15pts/18rebs) & Jakob Poeltl(12pts/12rebs) recording double-doubles. Fred VanVleet had a team-high👏 with 22 points to his name while the Raptors outrebounded the Cavaliers 63 to 35.

We can stack up as many statistics as we want, but the fact of the matter is, Cleveland never looked like a playoff team. Even without Kyle Lowry, Raptors wanted every possession💪 to count. The look of dismay on LeBron James tells us something is coming.

Cleveland slip⬇ to 26-15 while Raptors improve to 29-11, creating a separation↔ between the 2nd and the 3rd seeded teams out east.
